What is A-for-Adventure?
A-for-Adventure is an everlasting adventure games' information site, which offers to the point details one needs to know about a game. Our ultimate goal is to review each and every adventure game ever created to date.
What isn't A-for-Adventure?
A-for-Adventure stands on legal grounds with focused direction--to give our visitors best possible information about each and every adventure game. Here is what you'll not find on A-for-Adventure:
1. The games themselves: Offering commercial games for free is illegal, unless the company has announced them freeware.
2. Game demos or patches/bug-fixes: We don't have much space, and why should we, as all the demos, patches, etc. can be downloaded from the game company's official websites.
What gaming platforms are covered by A-for-Adventure?
For the time being. we are only featuring adventure games developed for PC and Macintosh. In future, we might feature only those console adventure games, which are never ported to PC or Macintosh but, at the moment, we don't have any solid plans for that.
What time periods are covered by A-for-Adventure?
Since, we are only related to graphic adventure games, then, I believe 1982 is the begin of the time period.
Why only adventure games? What's wrong with other genres?
Well, there is nothing wrong with other genres, but we personally believe that adventure is the genre, others are just rounding off the gaming scene.
