Second game in the Police Quest series, The Vengeance picks up where the first one left off. In the first episode you captured the evil Death Angel. Now, Death Angel has escaped from jail and has vengeance on his mind and murder in his heart. He kidnaps your girlfriend and flees the city leaving many dead bodies behind. As Sonny Bond, you must follow Death Angel's trail, save and rescue your girlfriend and once again confront him in this deadly game of life and death.

While the 16-Color Enhanced graphics look almost the same as they did in the first Police Quest, the interface is slightly improved and easier to use. All in all a solid graphic adventure we rank high when measured against other games of the era.
