Description

In this fourth episode of the acclaimed series, Police Quest got a dose of reality through Daryl Gates, retired detective from the real LAPD. Gates' involvement in the game's creation added real elements that boosted the series acclaim to even greater heights. In this more realistic venue you reprise your role as Officer Sonny Bonds, this time out to solve a series of brutal murders. At first glance the crimes seem too random and unrelated, but you must find the pattern to prove a serial killer is responsible. Follow the right leads to find your man on the mean streets of LA before he strikes yet again.

The graphics are mostly scanned pictures of the places and digitized real people are superimposed in form of sprites over them and add depth to the game, but sometime become bit jerky. The interface is pretty innovative and easy to handle. The CD-ROM version of this game was released with digitized speech and music.
