Description

The Scroll is actually a CDROM remake of the originally release, the Daughter of the Serpent, with voice acting and animations added. The plot remains the same, dealing with an ancient Egyptian curse. You can choose to play either as an occultist, George Stanhope, or as Matthew Faulkner, an Egyptologist and your quest is to find a way to destroy this cursed Egyptian Scroll rumored to bring evil that can end the world before getting destroyed.

The game is quite short and even an inexperienced gamer can finish it in a couple of hours. The puzzles are simple and can be solve using common sense and skills. The animated cut-scenes and hand-drawn graphics are reasonably beautiful and the sound, music and voice acting is well done. However, being a short game with few puzzles, it is both enjoyable and re-playable, with different paths leading to different outcomes.
