Description

Dracula Resurrection is a horror adventure game based on the Bram Stoker's horror fiction stories about evil Count Dracula, who rises from his coffin every night after sunset to suck the blood of whoever happens to be around. The victims bitten by Dracula then mysteriously fall under his spell and he may then use them as he pleases. In this game you play as Jonathan Harker, who's wife Mina was bitten by Dracula and whom you've rescued and taken away from Transylvania to England. Now, after seven years, Mina is once again under the influence of Dracula's spell and travels to Transylvania while you are away from home but leaves a note for you. To save her life you must follow her to Transylvania and search for Dracula, and this time hopefully, destroy him for good.

The 3D graphics and the character generation in Dracula Resurrection are par excellence and bring alive the exact eerie environment literally described by Bram Stoker in his stories, in which the player smoothly navigates in a full 360-degree panned view. There is hardly any musical soundtrack in the gameplay except in the cut-scenes but the sound effects are very good and elevate the eeriness of the atmosphere. While the voice acting is good, the lip-sync is something that was annoyingly overlooked in this game. Puzzle are very logical and mostly inventory-based with a linear gameplay. I highly recommend this game to every serious horror adventure gamer. People with weak heart must stay away from this game or it will undoubtedly beat the hell out of you.
