The Psychotron is an average action-adventure game created by mixing computer-generated graphics and full-motion video technology. You play as a highly trained government agent, who has been assigned by the US President and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to go undercover and investigate a highly sophisticated official science project, which has been stolen from the facility and an inside person is responsible for this act. Your job is to maintain your cover, search all the rooms in the building for clues, meet people and interact with them to get hints that's can be useful for your investigation and also help you in solving many mind-boggling puzzles.
Cinematically the game is mostly done in full-motion video where you meet people and talk to them using a selection of dialogue options. Music and sound quality is quite good and the actors have done a really great job in this game. The only weak feature that I have noticed in this game is its screen size that covers only the middle portion of the screen. Controls are also quite different then other standard adventure games and bit hard to understand in the beginning but later the player get used to them. Puzzles wise, the game is full of great quality card, board and logical games. All in all, it's a nice adventure game for the fans of puzzle solving adventure games. |
