Guybrush Threepwood is back in this second installment of the acclaimed Monkey Island series to kick the butts of ugly swashbuckling pirates and their fearsome evil leader, LeChuck. In this sequel you must again battle LeChuck, who is back from the dead in the form of a rotting zombie. As Guybrush, you must beat LeChuck to the legendary treasure of Big Whoop by retrieving four pieces of an ancient map from various locations in the Monkey Island realm.

Improved graphics have undergone a radical facelift, as the gorgeous backgrounds were scanned in from gorgeous hand-drawn illustrations. Music and sound are up to the scene and let us get a better picture of what the atmosphere of the time is like. Even the character animations are more lively and the addition of cut-scenes and full-screen capability all combine to make this one a winner.
